The thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs you hold have a significant effect on how you interpret the world around you and how you feel. If you're feeling bad, chances are that your thinking is negative or, at the very least, unhelpful.
Of course, you probably don't want to think in an unhelpful way, and you might not even realize that you do. Thinking errors are slips in thinking that everyone makes from time to time. Just as a poor signal stops your phone from functioning effectively, thinking errors prevent you from making accurate assessments of your experiences.
These errors can lead you to misunderstand situations, jump to conclusions, and assume the worst. They distort the facts and get in the way of clear thinking. However, you have the ability to step back, reassess your thoughts, and set yourself straight.
